I have yet to use my Canon EOS 5D markII because it isn't insured, but it's a good excuse to shoot lots and lots of film, which is what I like most.

I've been DYING to do some portraits lately, (other than of my sister and tyler, that is) which made me go rifling through some of my portraits and find this particular one from last year. Dancers are so incredible to photograph.

I usually really hate cutesy animal pictures, but I had to post this rare frame of Abe. I really liked the quality of the light coming in through the Mercer side window of my apartment. I love the grainy look that the slower film gave the space in the background.

Hours of sleep: 12 1/2 ( and i'm still tired )

Coffee: 32oz's of iced coffee, and it's still coming. 

The Plan: Emily, Tyler, Lil G and I are going to Paseo's today, for hot sandwiches and corn, and to plan an intervention. I am so ready for scarves and hot coffee and bundling up...

Here Goes

HEY. I found selecting my first photo a difficult task. I didn't want to look back and be like..ew. I have thousands of photos from this summer alone, but in order to be consistent with a documentation style, I chose one of my most recent favorites taken on July 11, 2009 at the Gorge. Anyone who has been to the Gorge knows that it doesn't require too much talent to capture it beautifully, but I really wanted to get an image different from the rest. This was the moment I liked. More to come, enjoy.

Hey friends-you asked for it, so i made it. Just as I like it this photo blog will be all film,and  all unedited. Comments are very welcome, I will try to post the film types, which camera i used and exposures as consistently as possible.
